My Wonderful Boy Rocky!

BACK GALLERY

There is nothing like "Mans Best Friend". We are together almost all the time. When I work and when I play, he's always there!
Rocky had a  rough start in this world. He lived on the street with a squeegee kid, from there he was left at some druggies house. After that he went to the pound and then was adopted by someone living on a farm. On the farm, he no longer had to be in fear of physical abuse but he was locked outside (or in the garage on very cold days) and ignored and unloved. She later decided that Rocky was not the dog for her! ( she bred PUGS that happily ran about the house BUT Rocky was NOT ALLLOWED IN) I met her by chance outside, near the pound. You see this "so called breeder" wanted an outdoor guard dog. She said he was destructive and uncontrolable. He was only about 10 months old at this point. He had just been fixed 6 weeks earlier. He had NO Training. He is not an outdoor breed. He is a pack animal. She was giving him back. They are not very tolerant with bully breeds here. I was afraid he would be put to sleep. I just took one look into those sweet eyes and I knew Rocky was misunderstood!  I hadn't planned on getting a dog but I took him anyway.
The rest is history. He is a very smart dog & does lots of tricks. He has a great willingness to please. He Demands a lot of attention. Play with me, pat me, walk me, give me treats and toys. He gets separation anxiety, so he is almost never left alone. He is one of the best things that ever happened in my life and I have not regreted taking him for one minute!
